Where are you located?
I am located in Bradenton and I cover Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, all the way down to Naples and Sanibel Island and all the way up to St. Pete's!!!
Do you go back to New Jersey for sessions and to work with your old clients?
I absolutely a few times a year! Once I know the dates, I blast the info on all of my social media accounts and I update my website too. Please let me know if you are in NJ, what dates would be of interest, and I will let you know if I will be there!
What types of sessions do you offer?
I document Couples, Weddings, Maternity, Newborn, Family and Branding. I've also added Mini sessions that will be announced via IG and FB.
Do you have a studio?
As I'm establishing my new business location, I offer only a "studio anywhere" upon request, such what I typically do for corporations and schools. As business becomes more established in Florida, I will update the studio details on social and website.
Do you do extended family sessions?
You bet I do! I LOVE extended family sessions so much. There is nothing more refreshing and moving than to see a close-knit family making memories together. It literally inspires me to be a better family person and to cherish my own extended family even more.
Do you ever do Boudoir Photography?
Absolutely! It is one of my most favorite genres in photography. I cannot tell you how many times I've seen women transform in front of my eyes when they decided to let go of their inhibitions and insecurities... The result is always a form of long lasting self love that cannot hide again. I only photograph women for Boudoir sessions. As a woman I know what helps other women come out of their shell and what they need to relate to this type of personal liberation. I respect my clients' privacy by not posting their boudoir photos on social media or website. Boudoir Photography sessions start at $450 (travel fees apply if ourside the 30mi radius from Tinton Falls)
Do you do Birth Photography?
Yes, Yes and Yes! I had two babies who are Tweens and Teens now and am still beating myself up for not hiring a professional photographer to document these two SO special times of our lives.... I would give anything for my little daughter to see how she was born in water, now serene and peaceful her birth was and how cute she looked curling up to my chest after.... I would give anything for my older daughter to see her birth journey making us parents for the first time and how beautiful she was even after all that hard labor she did as a baby coming out of that birth canal.... I have tried forgiving myself for this but as a photographer I am totally depressed that I did not give myself and my family the gift of that visual memory of the birthing journey.... It is very important to understand that clients budget for Birth Photography. This is an event that lasts way more than a regular session and depending on the duration of labor, fees can range anywhere from $450-$1,500.
Do you offer "mini" sessions?

You seem to do a lot of types of photography, some photographers focus on one, why so many?
Well, actually, to me all these types are a normal progression from one life milestone to the next. Since I've hit those in my lifetime already, I am personally aware of what they are, how they feel and their emotional impact, and how beautiful each stage is that can be totally conveyed through photography. I do not feel that is too many for a photographer to work with and I certainly stay grounded in each because I focus mainly on Emotional Connection and this resides in ALL types of photography.
Do you do non-FL Branding/Family/ Sessions and Weddings?
Yes I do and I love it! I post my traves schedule when I have plans to work while traveling as well. Feel free to reach out for your Destination Session anywhere in the USA!
Where do you like to photograph your clients?
Because my clients are my muse and focus, I don’t put much weight on location (we can take amazing photos with the right light on a street corner LOL). With that said, I am fully equipped with amazing locations for you, depending on what your preferences and energetic connections to locations are! We can go to any beach (or beach club that you belong to, but the entry fee is on you), Town/City Streets, Indoor locations, your home!... There are so many great options out there, and through our pre-session chat we will narrow down whatever location is the most suitable for your vision.
Do you charge travel fees?
Yes, any location over an hour travel from me is going to have a fee added to the session's fee (time + tolls + gas). And yes, travel destination fees are factored into the total fee of your destination session/wedding.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, all of my sessions require a non-refundable deposit. You will not get your deposit back if you cancel, so please keep this in mind before booking. :)
Do you have any hidden fees?
Nope. My fees are given upfront so you don't need to worry that you will pay more than advertised after you have had your session with me.
Do you include prints with your sessions?
I do not. Your session includes my time with you, your Full Resolution Digital images edited in color and some in B&W. However, upon your request, prints are available at an additional cost. I offer an amazing print quality lab service through the gallery that I use to deliver the images to you. Alternatively, I’m happy to share the details of my favorite print companies that will do an amazing job with your prints and photo books, and the process is super easy.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule our session?
You can cancel anytime but doing so means you forfeit your deposit.. You can reschedule ONCE. To reschedule more than once you will need to pay another non-refundable deposit and lose the one you had paid for prior. Why? Glad you asked: Once you book a date with me, I add it to my calendar which prevents any other clients from booking that time slot. So, if you cancel or reschedule, I lose a session’s full payment, and let’s be honest…. NJ is mighty expensive and we all have bills to pay :)
What if you need to cancel our session?
I look forward to and honor every session, but I do reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session for very specific reasons - illness that I feel may be contagious to you and your family, or an emergency with myself and/or my family that needs immediate attention. Should this happen, you will not lose your deposit and you will be booked for my next available date.
What do I wear at our session?
I always suggest that you wear something you love that makes you feel your most confident, and something you think will bring out that amazing personality of yours so it shines even brighter! But I beg you - PLEASE DO NOT MATCH..... if you are planning on having your entire family wear the same outfit, it won’t be interesting and can even come off as cheesy. But, if it’s really important to you that you match for some special reason, then by all means, please do what makes you most comfortable. That said, I do have suggestions that will help matching seem less cheesy and more tasteful. For example, instead of matching I encourage my clients to COORDINATE and have fun with various textures, colors and shapes. Trust me, it always comes out better and more vibrant!I
What if it rains/snows/weather related concerns?
This question pertains only to OUTDOOR sessions. I photograph indoor sessions at any time of day, come rain or shine. Depending on your type of session the call is made as close to the time of the session as possible. I find that rain and snow can add a beautiful feel to the photos, unless of course there are storms and it’s unsafe to be outdoors. Branding sessions are a bit more weather-specific and dependent on the theme and look that the client is going for. For example, if the weather is very windy and rainy headshot quality may suffer. However, the same weather may enhance a family session, creating amazing shots that are moody and emotional, with the hair and clothing being blown in the wind. So, in the case of inclement weather, it all depends. We’ll discuss and, if necessary, we’ll come up with better dates to accomplish the session’s goals.
How many photos do you give?
Lots! I am what you may call an oversharer… and that’s because I take a ton of photos, and of those, many awaken feelings in me that I hope will do the same in you. So, I give plenty of images to you because together the photos do tell your story and I want you to experience the beauty of our session in its fullness. I want you to be moved, to discover more things about yourself that you weren't aware of and to give you the ability to make your own story book. Plus, these are your photos, I want you to have them!
Do you give unedited photos if we want to edit them ourselves?
Never, ever. Editing is a big part of my final image look, and I take pride in only giving my clients my highest quality work. This also applies to photographers who hire me to do their family photos - you are hiring the whole package and I want to honor that. :)
Can I edit/crop your edited images?
Absolutely not. You hired me to take, edit and provide you with amazing photos. This is my expertise, and the final product I give to you is my interpretation of my highest work. You’re free to do as you please, but I ask that you please respect it and keep it so. Per the agreement we enter into prior to working together, altering my work is actually not even legal, and this includes applying filters on social media. This also applies to photographers who hire me to do their photos. We can always discuss edits and modifying them if your vision is different from mine with regards to the final result.
Do you retouch and photoshop your clients?
I do slight retouching for my Branding Sessions which is included in the total package. But even with that package, I do not want to make you look different. The whole idea behind my work is to keep my clients looking authentic and real, I work to capture amazing photos of you that show the world how beautiful it is when we are all comfortable with who we are!! However, I do honor requests and we can discuss this during my Branding consultation if there is a need for a heavier retouching approach. I do not offer this service for non-branding sessions unless you have a special request and this needs to be discussed before our session. Retouching of more than 5 images is at an extra cost.
Can I get a discount?
I want my clients to feel that I have been fair to them and I want to feel that I am fair to myself and my family, therefore I do not offer discounts. However, once a year I may offer a special for a cause that’s close to my heart and I announce that on my IG and FB pages.
You seem out of my budget, but I LOVE your work, so how do we make a session happen together?
Save and budget for our session. Instead of hiring me for a Spring session, start saving for a Fall session! I know how this feels and through my own budgeting for things that I couldn’t afford at a specific time, I have learned that budgeting is such an important habit to develop to get something you really want that you will cherish forever!
Where can I see your availability and how far in advance do I need to book my sessions?
You can reach out and request more info on my availability. I highly recommend that you plan ahead and book me ASAP for super important dates such as wedding day or a branding session, even if it’s months in advance. This way we have time to plan out our session, you have time to get the outfits that you love and also have time to book a stylist if your hair needs special attention like mine.. By the way weddings definitely need to be booked a year in advance, but you can always check with me anytime because you never know if I may have a cancellation or a reschedule.
Do you mentor?
Absolutely! Because I am self-taught, I know what it took me to learn and navigate through this saturated world of photography. What’s central to my style is being myself while also being in full control of my equipment, I shoot fully in MANUAL and that’s also what I teach. Sharing my skills with others who share my passion is one of my favorite parts of my job, so if you’re thinking about it- just reach out! I offer In Person and Group Mentorship Workshops.
